Royal Savoy - Ocean Resort - Savoy Signature

buffet breakfast had a wide selection to put on ones plate. all of a high quality. a walk into Funchal town is 15 mins or so, a taxi is around 5 euro. views were outstanding from our room and the sound of the sea lulled us to sleep. The staff very friendly as were all locals we encountered. Numerous restaurants close by for those looking for more choice than that the hotel offers. we will certainly be returning and are kicking ourselves for not finding this hotel earlier.

It is right on the ocean and the closest major seaside hotel to the downtown area. The pools and oceanfront are very nice. The decor in the hotel is very nice with impressive art everywhere.

Very Good breakfast, amazing view big nice balcony. Heated pools inside and outside. Very good saunas. Connected to hotel savoy Palace with a bridge & and you can use olso the pools & restaurants at Savoy Palace Hotel.

Really nice location, the sea view room was just unbelievable, the view is incredible, the decor a bit dated, but overall fantastic hotel, its a little dated compared to their other hotel Savoy signature and not as posh, but really liked it.

The staff were exceptional, friendly, welcoming, professional. The rooms comfortable and well appointed. The food is of a very high quality and expertly cooked. the bars were well stocked, everything was well presented and spotlessly clean. The location was ideal, all in all, excellent.
